So Proud of Griffin ~ Yes, that is a Teardrop on the 'y'

There is a little boy in Griffin's class with Down Syndrome and Griffin has been friends with him for a long time.  Griff has actually initiated many conversations about this little guy, in an effort to understand why his peers treat him differently.  When I read this note that was sent home from school, I really did cry because it was proof that although Griffin notices that someone is being unincluded, he stands alone and sticks up for what is right and he is a true friend.  You can try but sometimes this quality can't be taught, Griffin was born with it.
