1/3/2011 ~ CD Reorganization

100

Today I brought all of the CD's up to the livingroom and pared them down until I could fit the most important ones into a CD case that we got from Rose.  It's nice to have them all up on the main floor again, yet organized into closed storage.  And I have a box of old CDs that Justin wants.

Mostly my cd's

More of mine and some of Paul's on the opposite side

1/1/2012 ~ New Year, New Order

98

I have plans to reorganize.  Here is the first of the projects.  I brought the old CD racks up from the basement to Lily's bedroom and decided to use them for all of the kid's movies.  This compiles all of the accumulation of dvds from four different locations, into one.

It is much more filled in now than it is in this picture from the first day.  It also gives Lily three display shelves in the center.  One that she uses to charge her Ipod, the second that she uses to display her collection of tynees and the third for her other trinkets.

12/13/2011 ~ My First Bakepops!

79

My bakepop pans arrived!   They're like Bakerella's cakepops but instead of crumbling a baked cake and mixing it with half a tub of icing then forming the balls in your hand,  you doctor a cake mix and bake it in a pan that shapes them into balls for a lighter consistency.
Naptime today was dedicated to my maiden bakepop voyage UNTIL I got a surprise visit by the carpet cleaners. Forgot I made that appointment months ago and bakepops over cooked while I was running around moving furniture out of his way. Since they were not totally charred, I decided to still use some of them to get some practise dipping them into melted candy chocolate to decorate them.  As it turns out, they were a huge hit with my family after all and I must have had a case of "baker is her own worst critic" going on.

And the best part is that my carpet is FRESH AND CLEAN!

Sleeping Beauty.  She is 4 days into being fully weaned from nursing so I am letting her fall asleep in front of the tv to distract her from the changes.

Can't believe that the carpet cleaning man woke up this sweetness just 20 minutes into her nap.

Red Velvet bakepops with Chocolate candy coating and Christmas Nonpareils

She really focused on eating the nonpareils off the top

Lily is addicted.  Straight up addicted.

Even Griffin liked it!  And he is not a big dessert guy, he's more of a beef jerky man.

The first bakepops I ever made.  *Sigh*, I love a goal that comes to fruition.

11/6/2011 ~ White Backdrop test shot

Played with my new (wrinkly) backdrop today!  I think I'm going to need a steamer next to get the wrinkles out.  Oh, and photography lessons, lol!

10/19/2001 ~ Sweet as Apple Pie

24

I seriously considered taking pictures of supplemental vitamins today.  I started a regimen of a variety of vitamins last night, something that I commited to on my DayZero list of 101 goals to accomplish within 1001 days.  Today, I already felt the positive effects of it as my energy levels were improved and my productivitiy was increased as a result.  So instead of a photo of Omega3, Women's daily Multivitamin and B Complex vitamins, I decided to show you what I used some of that productive time to do.

Nothing better than a warm apple pie on a cold and rainy day.  Recipe from my Betty Crocker cook book and crust from Tenderflake.  MMMMMMMM!

9/26/2011 ~ The Lightbulb Moment

1

I have decided to add a 365 project to my DayZero List, and 3hundreds6tens5ones is the place where I will attempt to post 1 picture a day, for a year.  I am certainly more of a fauxtographer than a photographer but nonetheless I am looking forward to capturing a year worth of memories, one snap at a time.

This is what I look like this evening as I sit alone in the dark at the kitchen table at 11:21 p.m..
Our neighborhood has had a few reports of attempted break-ins this week so every single creek is absolutely freaking me out tonight.  Looking over my shoulder captures the feeling, a little.
